Welcome Readers, friends, and family! Now that you've made it to my first real estate blog post I'd love to tell you a little more about myself and how I got here.

In April 2019, (before the Coronavirus pandemic), I had been debating on what I wanted to minor in while in college and went to my hourly Administrative job. Should I continue to just focus on my bachelor's degree? Should I find a "hobbie" one that I was passionate about? Should I be doing something else with my life? A few days later I'm trying to sell my mom on Lord knows what and she turns to me and says, "You should be a realtor", jokingly. She also told me I could sell their house too since they had been preparing to sell it anyway. I took it seriously and I thought about it for a couple of days. We talked about pay, insurance, 401K, and all that fun stuff and I decided that would be my next endeavor. I took over a thousand bucks from savings and headed off to real estate school. LOL. It wasn't all that bad, I got to eat snacks all day and watch people teach for 9 hours straight every day. Anyway, took the extraordinarily long test and passed, woohoo!

Right after passing I became a Realtor® through the Fort Lauderdale Board of Realtors and helped my brother' purchase his first home on the MLS! About 45 minutes after submitting an offer I got a call from the listing agent saying the Seller accepted the offer! After many other showings, we ultimately went with the first house we made the offer on. We thought it was meant to be!

So there I was in my mid twenties, starting my real estate career and loving every minute of it! I'll be regularly posting home buying and selling tips and tricks as well as some other cool stuff on this blog so make sure to check back for updates!

I also send out a monthly email that includes tips and market reports, if you would like to be put on that email list just shoot me a quick text or email!

As always, if you know anyone getting ready to buy or sell, you know whos' number to give them! ;) If I can ever assist you in any real estate needs give me a call or email! Until next time!
